Health and Safety Training

We have teamed up with Associated Builders & Contractors, American Society of Safety Professionals and Total Backing Safety for Professional Development Occupational Health and Safety Training for the Great State of Alabama. We are offering the following Statewide trainings across our entire state of Alabama for 2023!

The Safety Training will include OSHA 30-Hour Construction Class led by Total Backing Safety & American Heart Association Bloodborne Pathogens, First Aid, CPR, AED, & Trauma Bleeding Control by Gulf Coast CPR Training:

The 30 Hour Construction course is designed to provide Site Superintendents, Foreman, and Leadmen to a broad range of topics in the Construction Industry. These are things that management, leadership and ground level supervision MUST know to keep the job site in compliance. We discuss how to hold safety meetings, to injury logs and reporting procedures as well as what training is required for your tradesmen on your job site that are absolute must haves from a documentation standpoint. You learn how to create a thorough Job Hazards Analysis and what the significance of the documents are. We also review all information that must be discussed from Fall Protection requirements to Lock Out Tag Out procedures and what to do if OSHA shows up at your job site. Everything and we mean EVERYTHING that your job site supervision must know , we teach it. Our subject matter experts don’t leave out anything.

The American Heart Association Bloodborne Pathogens, First Aid, CPR & AED training is a 2 Year Certification and meets all State, Federal & OSHA requirements. The Bloodborne Pathogens course is designed to teach employees how to protect themselves and others from being exposed to blood or blood-containing materials. The First Aid and CPR/AED course is designed to teach students CPR, use of an automated external defibrillator (AED), relief of choking, and recognition of life-threatening emergencies. The First Aid course is designed to teach students First Aid for victims of all ages, a variety of topics that will be covered are first aid basics, medical emergencies, injury emergencies and environmental emergencies. Trauma Bleeding Control covers two evidence-based methods of bleeding control: placing a tourniquet on an extremity and packing a wound. The American Heart Association (AHA) leads the way for keeping all OSHA required performance standards and guidelines as up to date as possible. Gulf Coast CPR Training’s goal is to ensure that everyone leaves our training courses feeling confident in their ability to respond in a real-life emergency, no matter the situation or setting.
